Manager Wim Vervecken grew up between the jumpers and dressage horses. From childhood he was engaged in saddle breaking and schooling young horses.
“Tips & Tricks” (dressage, jumping) he learned from his father. He first came into contact with reining sport in 2005, after a colleague asked him to saddle break a ‘Quarter’. Reining sport immediately became an obsession!
In 2008 he made his debut in the show ring with 'Dressed For Hollywood' and he did that with merit. He immediately acquired success in accomplishing the 'AQHA Open Belgium Championship Senior Reining'. One year later he becomes ‘DRHA Snaffle Bit Open Year End Reserve Champion’ with KS Hollywood Thwize. Other successes followed. In 2011 he decided to start as a professional trainer.
Horses are trained 5 days a week. We offer them daily grazing in individual paddocks and pastures to avoid injuries. We always keep the owner’s goals in mind, but the health and welfare of your horse takes first place ! You can contact ‘Vervecken Reining Horses’ for:
From the early start horses are teached the right manners. Once they’re broke, basic training starts with teaching the horse how to react on basic instructions while walking, trotting and loping.
Training your horse for the best result in the ‘show-arena’ is a specialty. A lot of patience and repetition are an absolute condition. Expectations from owner and trainer are evaluated on regular basis.
Wim coaches non-pro’s and youth riders at competitions. With success ! In NRHA Belgium final classification 2016 all his non-pro’s are within the first 10 places. In NRHa Rookie L1 number 1 and 2 are pupils from Wim.

Wim is regulary being asked for his solid advice on breeding Reining horses. His knowledge on Reining blood lines combined with his 'young horses experiences' makes the perfect combination.
